    3. Robyn, If you have the patience to write and it works for you go for it. You may also visit the Oakland County Courthouse web site and order your vital records DIRECTLY from them. It is not cheap, but if you don't want to write and wait, or hire someone, ordering directly from them may be the answer. I would give you the URL but it appears that there is a problem with that website right now. If you would like to try it for yourself go to google.com and type in Oakland County Clerk/Courthouse or something along those lines. That should get you to the site (once it starts to work again) and then you can get the details on ordering directly from them! 3. Hi! I'd suggest that you go to RAOGK.com and ask one of the lookup volunteers to help you. Oakland Co. has **wonderful** volunteers!!! 3. For what it is worth. I have tried writing and telephoning. Neither works. The staff evidently does not know they are public servants and our taxes pay their wages. Then again maybe in Michigan that is the way it is supposed to work. I would try the Random Acts of Kindness site. I have some of the Oakland County Genealogical Society cemetery books that I would be glad to do a look up for you.
