Ron, Who are you trying to look for? Maybe some of us can help you out. Just off the top of my head, I'm wondering if you're sure its Michigan. There's a Rutland County in Vermont as well, where a lot of people in Michigan came from ... I'd be questioning the date too, unless your family was in trading or explorers, since thats five years before even Wayne County was started. Good luck!
