Thank you to the members who suggested I go to the Pontiac Library to read a newspaper of 1940 for northern Oakland Co. Found the obit which gave me much sought after information. Now I wonder if there are any Pontiac City Directories for the time period 1903 to 1910 and afterward, at any library. Did not have time to ask at Pontiac when I was there. Grandson's Basketball game was drawing closer. Susanne
