"Register of Electors, Brandon Township, Oakland County Michigan 1859-1882 1870 Apr 2 Jeremiah LOCKWOOD" This sure sounds like your Jeremiah. I can email this page to you if you want it. Also, I have an Amanda Lockwood daughter of Jeremiah Lockwood [don't know if this is the same Jeremiah Lockwood as the Brandon Township one] This Amanda married Zimri Curtis. This Amanda was b. abt 1812 d. 31 Oct6 1883 in Addison Twp. Would you let me know if this Amanda is daughter of your Jeremiah Lockwood? Ann in New Mexico The Jeremiah Lockwood may be mine if he was born Dec 1836 and died after 1900. I don't have Amanda and if you say she was born 1812 - well that would be impossible as you can see Jeremiah was born after Amanda. So, perhaps she is from an earlier generation with a father named Jeremiah. Perhaps it could be she is related to him back a generation as MY Jeremiah's father may have been born about 1815-1816 or before if he was age 20 at marriage and Jeremiah is his first child. Therefore, perhaps she could be his father's sister? Would be interesting to find this out. If you wish to email me a copy and you are scanning it, could you convert it to a jpeg format. It makes it easier to open that way. Christie Trapp

    3. Christie, I 'collect' Lockwood names in Macomb & Oakland County, with the thought that they may connect to my husband's line. He descends from Elbridge & Maria [Blanchard] Lockwood. I had this Jeremiah, father of Amanda is my 'strays'. Source: Just his name from Amanda's death & marriage info in Macomb & Oakland County vital records. Have nothing more on the Jeremiah father of Amanda. The other Jeremiah, the one in Brandon Township sounds like the one you posted a query about. My husband has the scanner with his computer. Will ask him to email page to you. If this doesn't work I can U.S. mail it to you. Will do my best.
