I think it was actually closer to Crooks Rd (about 1/2 mile I think) than to Adams. If I remember correctly, it was at the bottom of the last hill going east before getting to Crooks. I think the area was called Avondale. It would have an Auburn Hts mailing address. Possibly even a Pontiac address. That area would have an "Auburn Hts" zip code and Telephone exchange, but a Rochester Hills address. It would not be Pontiac, the corner of Opdyke and South Blvd mark the boundary between Pontiac on the west of Opdyke and the north of South Blvd, with Auburn Hills being just 1 mile wide at that point, east of Opdyke to Adams. Adams marks the boundary between Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills. (Auburn is 1 mile north of South Blvd, completely in Rochester Hills.) Thanks, Pam Pamela A.
