    3. I have learned so much from all the posts about Orion. Thank you! I am looking for more information on Betsey German, listed as 41 years old on the 1870 Census of the "Town of Orion, in the County of Oakland," with the post office at Canandaigua. Page 12, family 85. She was born in Canada. Two children listed with her are Charles, age 11 and Ella, age 9- both born in Michigan. Their father was of foreign birth. Where would I look for the death and burial information for Charles and Betsey, who are not listed on the 1880 Census? I BELIEVE Betsey was the widow of John German. I need proof of Ella's parents names. Would there be wills or real estate records available for Orion? On the 1880 Census, Ella is listed as a sister in the household of Philip and Mary Durkee. Ella married John Vaughan. Would like to compare information on the GERMAN , VAUGHAN, PEARSALL, LEET, and DURKEE families of Oakland County, Michigan. Thank you for any help or ideas of where to search next.
