Hi Missy, When you have time would you look in your book "Early Addison Township History" for one of my toughest mysteries?? Valentine Kingsbury b. about 1828 is son of Leonard and Esther (Williams) Kingsbury. Valentine married Laura Lockwood 7 Mar 1852. By 1860 he has disappeared. Laura is living with the Kingsbury's up near Hosner & Oakwood in Addison Twp. Valentine & Laura had 2 children Fanny b. abt 1855 and Ester b. abt. 1857. Unless Laura was a bigamist [anything is possible] Valentine must have died before 1861. 14 Oct 1861 Laura married John Brooks. Some say Valentine died in New Orleans, some say he went to Illinois. Laura later married Lester Sowles and she died in 1923 as Laura Fulton or Folten. The book I have "The Addison Albun" has much on the Leonard Kingsbury family who were in Addison Twp prior to 1840, but nothing about what happened to Valentine or much about Valentine for that matter.
