Margit Try this link to MN Place Names index on MNHS website. http://mnplaces.mnhs.org/upham/city.cfm?PlaceNameID=13049&BookCodeID=74&County=28&SendingPage=Results.cfm Since they do not say which township it was in, you may have to contact the Houston county Historical Society to see if they have old land records which would pinpoint the Looneyville location. Looking at the BLM - GLO records site it appears the land owned by Looney was located in Houston township.
