I think it is about $10 a month for a month-to-month subscription. That is where I found the engagement notice for Francis/Frances Ross and Edward Garland. The Winnipeg papers have a few "hits" for Frances, including her school grades in 1903. Can you imagine having the newspaper print your math or English score in the paper for all to see? Yikes! 1967 has a death notice: Garland, Frances Lossie, 81, or 401 Park Towers. 1907 note: Miss Lossie Ross is visiting [Portage La Prairie] from Winnipeg. Several 'society' notes.
