Looking for inf. on UKN JOHNSON family from NOR. to WI., possibly this family (all?) moved on to MN. May have come thru CAN?. Daughter Mary Helen JOHNSON, b. 1855, said t/b in Norway, d. Oct 7, 1887 in Stevens CO. MN., m. Simon E. Bright on May 7, 1874. Mary may have already been in MN. when she married Simon. Or,.... Simon could have gone back to WI to marry her. Mary was Simon's third (3rd) wife. Another possibility is that Simon had relatives in MA.... could this JOHNSON family have been in MA? And, Simon married Mary there? Simon BRIGHT'S family immigrated from ENG. to NS CAN to WI in 1840's. Some moving on to MN and MA. Do not have any inf. on when Mary JOHNSON'S family came to WI or from where.
