I found a copy of a Homestead certificate for my ggrandfather. How can I find the approximate location of this plot of land (town or county)? The information given states the 'north half of northwest quarter of section three .......', etc. Thanks, MeLani

What is the rest of the location? If it has a township, range and meridian, it could possibly be in Alberta or Saskatchewan.
