Dear Trønderlag of America Member, I am the chairman of the Trønderlag of America membership committee. My goal for 2003 is to double our membership! This may seem to be unrealistic, but if each member would find just one new member, we could make this happen! Each year we lose from 12 to 24 members from the Trønderlag. So each year we need to find 2 members per month just to stay at the same level. To help you with your recruiting, we have various things that can help you when you talk to your friends and relatives about joining the Trønderlag of America. You could tell them about the web site at www.tronderlag.org which our president has created. If you have not visited the site, please do. It is beautiful. We have an on line membership application at that web site. The membership fees are as follows: $10 for 1 year, $18 for 2 years, and $25 for 3 years. You might ask members of your church to become members. You might ask members of the Sons of Norway to become members. We also have a pamphlet for prospective members which describes the lag.
