    3. MeLani, O.K. I found the land records on the BLM web site. N½NW 3/ 18-N 4-E No 4th PM - 1831 MN/WI WI Adams 2 4/ 18-N 4-E No 4th PM - 1831 MN/WI WI Adams, Juneau It looks like the land spans two counties, Adams and Juneau. The land is located in Sections 3 and 4 in Township 18 North, Range 4 East of the 4th Prime Meridian. See the map at http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/travel/maps/docs/counties/adams.pdf If click on the + to set the view scale at 400% you can see a lot of detail. Locate the town of Adams in the center of the page. You will see the county name "Adams" to the right of the town of Adams. Above that is the name of the town of Friendship. The word "Friendship" spans Sections 3 and 4 where the land is located. 3. Dick, Thank you so much. That gives me a region to search for his wife who died within the year.
