Sharon & List, Does Minnesota have a death index that would cover say 1870 - 1880?? Sedgewick NIELD does not appear in the 1880 census with the family, which by the way were living in Kimshew, Butte Co, California. There is no statewide death index that early. But you may want to check out John Dalby's database. He spent years walking cemeteries in the Rice/Steele County area and may have a few NIELD listed. http://www.dalbydata.com/user.php?action=cemsearch (no soundex search, so try various spellings) Kathy -----Original Message----- From: Gene Hutson [mailto:FishRus@CableOne.net] Sent: Friday, July 14, 2006 12:56 AM To: MINNESOTA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MINNESOTA] BMD question Sharon & List, Does Minnesota have a death index that would cover say 1870 - 1880??
