Good Morning to Listmembers, I just got back from my trip to Minnesota from visiting my mother with my sister and daughter. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for any more perfect weather. We are from Florida so it was just gorgeous for us. I want to give a huge thanks to Randy Wendel, from Bloomington, and to Rose at the Jackson County Historical Society for all their wonderful help. Randy, yes..., St. Paul Cemetary is the Rost Township cemetary I had inquired directions on and it was amazing. I was finding gravestones and relatives of mine I wasn't in search of just quite yet. Thank you so much. To Rose, I didn't have much time to spend chatting with you, but what we did chat about was wonderful. My mother to came in with me, had never been to the historical society in her 62 years and she enjoyed it extremely. From you, we went to pick up my aunt. We then went, to my amazement, the original family farm. And boy oh boy... part of the original house was standing :). It was wonderful. If anyone in the southern Minnesota, northern Iowa, area have a chance, stop in to the Jackson County Historical Society. It is great. Thanks for letting me share my experience with all.
