Dave -------- Start your research for the divorce in the county where your ancestor met his second wife. In my county (Freeborn County, Minnesota) a separate divorce file doesn't start until well into the 20th century. Prior to that time, divorce records were included in the civil court records and sometimes involved a lengthy search! Good luck! Jean R.
