Henry Bennett collins- have blm land patent for him 1860 . he was married to eliza lorraine montgomery collins. they had 11 children. helen alzina collins married in Mankato Alvin m. collins- have masonic brotherhood membership 1870, Mankato, Blue Earth co MN, but he had already let his membership lapse. have his military record for the civil war union 1864-1865, 1st LT, and before that he was a captain in the Minnesota State Militia during the Sioux Indian wars...are there any military records at the State level on that Militia and rosters etc? did Blue Earth co MN have any newspapers where births were announced in 1861? evalett e. collins b. feb 17 1861 to Alvin and Lydia crandall collins???
