Hi all, My grandparents lived in northern Minnesota, just north of Gully (Polk County), so I have been researching that area for quite a few years. I am researching Andersons, Johnsons, and Bensons. On a trip to that area I came across the Parish book which lists all the births, deaths, confirmations, etc.) for the Oak Grove Norwegian Lutheran Church(1899 - late 1940's). The book was being cared for by one of the families who belonged to that Church when it was still active, so it is not very readily available to most people. I xeroxed the Parish book records and a directory of who is buried where in Oak Grove Cemetary...if anyone has a relative who was (or might have been) buried there and wants me to check these records , feel free to email me. This church was in the country, about 10 miles north of Gully and then a few miles East..I'm not sure if it was in Clearwater or Polk County. If not Polk County then very close to it...maybe someone on this List is from the area and knows which county. The Church is no longer standing (burned down) but the cemetary is still there and is cared for by a local family. I also have a copy of the Gully-Trail Diamond Jubilee book which has a little of the history of each of these towns and surrounding areas,as well as families who settled there (and old photos also) . If anyone needs a lookup in this resource I'd be glad to do so. Janet
