I´m searching for the parents of Bertha Katherine ALEXANDER, born 18.01.1888, dead 13.06.1964 in Redwood. Her mothers maiden name was TERHELL. It´s the same with Anna Adeline PETERSEN, born 06.02.1881, dead 11.11.1966 in Blue Earth. Her mothers maiden name was TERHEL, too. I have no additional information. I´m from Germany and searching for my ancestors TERHELL in America. I`m sure, that Bertha and Anna belongs to my family, but I don`t know, at what place. Does anyone have additional information? 2. I found that entry in 1880 also. I also found a Bertha Alexander in the 1920 census, married to David O. Alexander. Mother b. Minnesota, father Germany, mother Illinois which may be one of the Terhell's that were born in Illinois from the 1880 census. I then checked the birth records for one of the children listed in the 1920 census belonging to the Alexanders and found a Catherine D which is about the age of the Katherine D listed on the census. On the birth record it lists the mother's name as Thorgerson or Thargerson. I tried going back to the census at that point to find a Bertha Thorgerson and can't find one. There are also some Simonet or Simmonet's associated with the Terhell name.
