    1. Re: [MINNESOTA] EVERGREEN CEMETERY IN STAPLES, MN
    2. Could some kind person tell me how to find a cemetery in Staples, MN.? I need a name on a tomb stone, next to Euphemia Graham. It is her daughter and her last name could be Leitz or a variation of it i.e., Litz, Letiz etc. She could have died around 1901 and would have been young as she was 7 years old in 1900 Federal Census in Hennepin County, Minneapolis. Euphemia married George Wallace Graham in 1901 and moved to Staples. If I could find the name on the head stone of the daughter then I could find out his first name. Euphemia was a widow in 1900 census and her last name then was Letiz. I understand that the cemetery is un-attended. But surely someone is there to sell grave sites, etc. Looking forward to any help! Sandy

    3. I think I would call the city hall . . . or the courthouse . . . they would have records of each cemetery and the person to contact . . . or at least the ones I have contacted have been able to give me that information . . . happy hunting. But, Rootsweb does site the cemetery list for Minnesota: http://resources.rootsweb.com/USA/MN/Todd/ But, there are no cemeteries in Todd County transcribed. I then looked for "cemetery in Staples" and found a few links that something might help you.
