Perhaps one of them is a cousin and could connect you up with Carol. 2) I can dig in ancestry.com a little bit for you. Looks like Thurlow was born about 1914 in Willmar, Kandiyohi, MN. I don't see Carol in the Minnesota Birth Index, 1935-2002. Are you sure she was born in MN? 3) According to the California Death Index, 1940-1997, Thurlow died in CA in 1982: KILAND, THURLOW NORMAN 25 Oct 1982 ALAMEDA MALE 2 Aug 1913 MINNESOTA JOHANSON 4) I don't see Carol listed in the Ancestry World Family Trees. Several entried are marked "Kiland, Living." But it looks like the KILAND name is from Norway, Telemark, Fyresdal. One of the Kiland entries is linked to this site: http://home.no.net/tkah/ 5) A really quick google search of "Carol Kiland" shows only eight hits. One of them shows a Carol Kiland that married and man named Terry Howard and had two children; Melissa Jane Howard and Jacob Thurlow Howard. I couldn't really say if this is the same Carol, but I suspect it is.
