It is 1843. I guess I should wear my reading glasses more. My Great Grandfather owned a bar and they lived over it. I wondering since Vermillion is a main street maybe that is where the bar was. I have a picture of it but it is on an angle and I can't see the name. Is there any kind of records I can look up to find the name? Thanks for all the info. about Hastings.
