Hi everyone, Thanks for your help. I have found the obiturary and all it says is : The funeral of Mrs. Joseph Eatherly, which took place from her late residence on Vermillion Street to Lakeside Cemetery on Sunday afternoon was largely attended. Does anyone know where Vermillion Street is? I thought it was in Hastings. I have found them in the 1880 census and they were in Hastings. She was born on Oct. 29,1943.My next step was to see if the cemetery has records. Lori
There is a Vermillion Street in Hastings. It is the main drag, so to speak. I also checked for a Lakeside Cemetery, It is located in the northeastern section of Hastings. There is a website with tombstone transcriptions but I could not find your relative. The site is ... www.pressenter.com/~gregboe/Cemeteryindex.htm There is an email address at this site. Perhaps that individual knows where the records are kept. On Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at 12:26 PM, Lori P wrote: > Hi everyone, Thanks for your help.
