I have a relative that died in October of 1886 according to church records. His tombstone says 1888, but it is the same headstone that also has his parents, one that died in 1903 and the other, 1905. Anyway, his death record is neither in Isanti or Chisago whichh are the logical places. I'm thinking maybe he was in the hospital or maybe he was working on a farm away from home when he died. I can't afford to send to all the surrounding counties to see if they have a death certificate. If some kind person can check the various counties surrounding Isanti and Chisago, maybe as far as the twin cities, I would be more than happy to pay for the certificate once it's found.
