When was Annette born? When did she come to America? The more information you give, the more we may be able to help. :-) Margit > Can anyone tell me if it is possible to find any information of my Grandmother > Annette Ambule. 1. [MINNESOTA] Haven't gotten any posts from the list, anyone there?
    2. For some reason I am only getting posts from the Iowa, Ohio, PENN, and Maryland lists. Most of which is Iowa. Are we having a slow time of it or am I just not receiving the postings? Susan H.C.Vera

    3. Hello Ms. Baldwin, I will apolojize to you for my answer the other evening on the Minnesota List, I assume you are new to genealogy. :-) All capital letters in email is considered screaming at someone. Also, we who help all the time have a problem with understanding your email, what names are you researching in Minnesota specifically? We do not know from your post. Maybe we should all start over and if you post the full first name, surname, location and birthdates and what you wish to find about your family in Minnesota, I know there are some who are willing to help. I have access to many records in Minnesota and census records. Or feel free to contact me offlist, I will help if I can. Margit http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~maggiebakke/flom.html "Genealogy - a search for the greatest treasures - our ancestors" I will however not apolojize to those adults on the list who were childish enough to send me derogatory emails or blank emails or make comments on other mail lists in reference to my email to the list. ------------------- Family Locations: Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota,New York, Ohio,Pennsylvania,Virginia,Wisconsin

    3. Can some S.K.S tell me where I can look to find and where to go to look to find information as to where my Grandmother is buried. She died in 1902 somewhere in Minnesota, and her name is Annette Carlson and I am quite sure that her maiden name was Ambule. She was maried to my Grandfather John August Carlson. The only place I fine them is in the 1880 United States Cencus Thanks to all who gave me information on where to get my Fathers birth certificaate and also to all who gave me the list of Lutheran Churches. All this information was greatly apprecited. I do know for certain that my Garndmother was not buried in Chicago County. A.C.T.

    3. You know, I have been at genealogy for more years then most, these posts, I ignore totally. If you can not take the time to put down your family information and EVERYTHING you know about them and you are inquiring about, I am not even going to look at what you write, much less answer. Looks like you may need a course in genealogy 101. Margit in Minnesota > > Family Locations: Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota,New York, > Ohio,Pennsylvania,Virginia, Wisconsin

    3. Does anyone know whom I should locate to find births in Lac de Sables, MN. Sandy Lake, MN in the 1816-1820, such as was born there Joseph Belangier 10 June 1813, although baptised in 1816 in St Michel, Yamaska, Quebec. I would assume this would be in old church records. I am looking for other births there. Thanks Karen

    3. This website is wonderful!! I use it all of the time. <http://www.switchboard.com > When you get there, click on the yellow pages. Next put church in the Business type, and Ortonville, in the city and MN in the state. There are FIVE Lutheran Churches in that town. Now you can write to get what they want. Hope this helps.
