Hello List, Is there somewhere online to lookup marriages that doesn't cost? I'm trying to find a marriage date for my gr gr grandparents. Per 1900 census it looks like they were married about 1883. I'm guessing in Ramsey County. They both came from Bohemia in 1880 and 1881. I have them in the 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930. They lived in Ramsey County in all 4 records. His name is Frank Hayek and her name is Emma. Her last name may have been Novak, but I'm not sure about that. Thanks for any ideas, Michelle in GA
Doris, There is a company in St. Paul called "William Schoenrock & Son, Inc., Manufacturers and Dealers in Monuments, Markers and Cemetery Work" at 928-30 Jackson St, St. Paul, MN, 55117, telephone: 651-227-7723. I believe that it is located across the street from the entrance to Roselawn Cemetery. I purchased a monument from them in 2002 and dealt with Mr. Chester Schoenrock who, I believe, is the current owner and the "Son" in the name of the company. You might want to contact him to see if there is a connection to your "Gustave Shanrock, real spelling is Schoenrock". Good luck! Ron, A soundex search of the 1920 Federal Census produces no results for the name as you have written it. Do you know the surname that John and Hannah took once in the U.S....America did not recognize scandinavia's special letters. Cathie Ron Holmquist wrote: > Hi folks! > > May I please have a 1920 Fed.
