Hi Listers, Can anyone give me the address, phone number or email address of the Rollingstone Heritage Museum in Rollingstone Minnesota? Helen In Pitttsburgh, PA
The Internet is wonderful, it has all the information you would ever want. You can also find all the information using a search engine. Using Alltheweb.com or Google, you'd find the museum is called the Rollingstone Luxembourge Heritage Museum. This article gives the address, phone, etc. http://www.winonapost.com/061701/Body061701.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Helen L. Thanks to all for the help from the list, I've found who I was after in the 1920 census. Edina is ED #9. William Anderson and family were on page 4134, no. 213/215. Thanks again, Jeff
Thanks Katherine, Neat website! Looks like the area is 235.02 in 2000. Still working on narrowing it down for 1920. Thanks for all the help I received from the list. It will definitely help me narrow down the 236 districts for the Minneapolis area :-) Thanks again, Jeff

I'm looking for ancestors, Aaron Mathews and Lyman Mathews, brothers. Aaron moved to MN around mid 1860's with his second wife and children Sophia, Lyman, Thaddeus, Willie, and Sarah. He had three more children with second wife. Lyman the brother moved to MN sometime after 1870 and died before 1897. Lyman was living in Oceana Co., MI in the 1870 census, but I've lost him after that. I do not know what county or town these folk lived in. Any help appreciated. Thank you. Patty

Hi again I made a mistake in my keyboarding. Hildeguard was born in 1886 in New Zealand. From Cathy Dowie My original message: Hi listers, I have just joined this list in the hope of finding someone who is related to Hildeguard, or someone who can advise me about how to find her living relations in Minnesota. Hildeguard was born 22 March 1866 at Port Chalmers, Dunedin, New Zealand, daughter of John and Mary Ann Duckett. She died July 1974 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her family emigrated to USA in the late 1890's or early 1900's. When our Williams family left Cornwall in the 1870's/80's they settled in NZ, AUS, USA. Hildeguard's mother was the sister of my great grandfather William Williams. I would like to be able to sort out where all of his brothers and sisters settled in the world and to make contact with their descendants if possible. I'd appreciate any help available and I'm also willing to do reciprocal research in NZ for someone if required. Looking forward to a reply Regards Cathy

Thanks to all who answered my questions about the Gedlink website! I did find my 3rd great grandfather listed on Gedlink, and have tried to contact the researcher that has the info, but with no success (yet). I guess I'll keep my $20 and utilize their free services. Thanks again! Erica ------ http://USFamily.Net/info - Unlimited Internet - From $8.99/mo! ------

I'm new to the list and would like to know if anyone is researching the David Watson family? David Watson married Phoebe Emily Kennedy in Indiana in 1836 and then moved to Redwood Falls, Minnesota, being some of the first settlers of Redwood Falls. Their children were Robert, Martha, Ebenezer, Malissa, Benjamin, Eliza and David Foster. David and Phoebe were my husband's great great grandparents. Their son, Robert, married Harriet Mayhew in Indianapolis, Indiana and then moved to Redwood Falls after the birth of their son Mayhew. Their other children were Caroline, Wynona and Harry. Caroline married Winthrop Humphrey Bennett in Washington (State). In later years they moved to Minneapolis. Does any of this sound familiar? I have more information to share. Thanks! Lynne Bennett
