Of Hickory Corners Formerly of Muskegon MI Charlotte passed away September 4th, 2008, after a long battle with cancer, Mrs. Peliotes (formerly Williams) was born September 20, 1927, daughter of Harry and Nora Williams of Ripley West Virginia. Graduating Valedictorian, receiving the John Hay fellowship scholarship, Undergraduate degree from James Madison University, Virginia, and graduate degree from university of Chicago where she met and married James Peliotes of Muskegon, Michigan who preceded her in death. Charlotte taught English at schools in Wooster, Oh, Mona Shores, Norton Shores and Muskegon heights. She is survived by her daughter Nora Sikkema, Son in law Bill Sikkema of Gull Lake and two grandchildren Sarah Keegan & Maggie Sikkema and many nieces and nephews. Her life was celebrated by giving herself to her students, family and friends. Private gravesite services will be held in Muskegon. Arrangements by REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S.
