It covers 2/3 of a page. I will copy most of this posting: "James Henry Coggeshall of Muskegon, Mich., was born Groveland, Mich., May 27, 1837; married Salem, Mich., Aug 10, 1862, Electra Force, daughter of Nelson and Sarah Force of Canada. She was born Paris, Ill., Aug 8, 1837. {The tie of this James back to President John is provided.} Mr Coggeshall was graduated from the Univ of Michigan in 1862, received the degree of AM in 1867, and from the same Institution he received his BS and MS. He was for a while a teacher and was later engaged in book publishing at Muskegon, Mich. He was secretary of the Lowell Moore Lodge, No 182, A.F. and A.M. and a mamber of the Damascus Chapter, R.A.M., Muskegon Council, master of East Tawas Lodge, F.A. and A.M., and master of Tawas City Lodge, A.F. and A.M. Mrs Coggeshall was several times Recorder in the Mizpah Chapter No 88, O.E.S. Children: - William Ellsworth, b Ann Arbor, Mich, 8-10-1863; d Muskegon, Mich, 10-13-1889. - Jennie May, b Lexington, Mich, 5-1-1865; d 4-18-1871. - George Theopholis, b Tawas City, Mich, 6-14-1869; d Tawas City 3-12-1871. - Rose Adelle, b Tawas City, 8-26-1873. Single. Miss Coggeshall was a member of the Mizpah Chapter of the O.E.S. in which she served several terms as Ruth and Assistant Conductress. - Bela Nelson Laverne, b Detroit, Mich., 11-16-1877. Mr Coggeshall was employed as a clerk in the post office. He was a sergeant in the military company and was with the "Rough Riders" at the taking of San Juan Hill at Santiago de Cuba. He is a member of the Lowell Moore Lodge, No. 182F. Single. {Because of the date this book was published, the use of the verb "is" above and no death dates provided for them, it appears that both Rose and Bela were living when this book was published. There is no indication that this Coggeshall family changed their name spelling to Cogshall -- although that is the way I pronounce my last name = Kog shl.} Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
