Stowe died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myron Nelson, where she has made her home for some time. She was past 77 years of age. Funeral services were held at the residence this morning. Rev. A.K. Elliott, pastor of the Methodist church was in charge. Muskegon County Death Records, Liber 3, page 314, record #221, April 24, 1916 Emma L. Stowe, female, white, widowed, age 77, died at Holton, cause not legible, born York State, father James Marks, mother unknown.
