Jesselyn, 82, died June 22 in Phoenix following complications from heart surgery. Born in Muskegon, MI she began her career as an elementary teacher in a one-room school. She spent most of her 40 years teaching in Mattawan , touching the lives of many children. Active in the church throughout her life, Jesselyn was a woman of deep faith and a friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death in March by her husband of 53 years, Bob. Memorial service for both Jesselyn and Bob is Saturday, August 15 at 11 AM at Temple UMC, 2500 Jefferson St, Muskegon, MI. Request no flowers. Donations to the charity of your choice.
