IVA M. Mrs. Iva M. Pierce, age 89, dies Tuesday evening at a local hospital. She was born July 16, 1900 in Ravenna and came to Muskegon in 1918. The former Iva M. Abbott married Edward Rose Oct. 27, 1919 who preceded her in death. She then married Walter Pierce May 25, 1942 who preceded her in death January 7, 1962. Mrs. Pierce had been a seamstress for Amazon Sporting Goods and Wolverine Sportswear. SURVIVORS: Her son, Clifford Rose; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The FUNERAL SERVICES for Mrs. Pierce will be held Friday at 1:30 P.M. at the Lee Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Hack officiating. INTERMENT: Mona View Cemetery. VISITATION; This evening, 7-9 P.M. -Lee Muskegon County Birth Records, Liber VI, page 70, LF 567 July 16, 1900 Abbott Iva May, F, W, Moorland Twp., Abbott, Stephen (b. Michigan) and Abbott, Alice, b.
