I have his brother (half-brother?) Charles Coutts in Tacoma, then Spokane by 1898, also sisters Wilhelmina Margaret Coutts and Ann Coutts (also half-siblings?) who stayed in Scotland. Wilhelmina is my ggma but can't find *anything* on the family. very frustrating. If you're still searching, please let me know more about your Alex.
