I found the death certificate of George W. McElfish on Seeking Michigan. He died on October 4, 1897 in Muskegon County. At the time of his death, the family was living on Florence Ave., which I believe is now Isabella, between Wood and Getty streets. The cemetery that is listed as his burial place looks like "Black Creek Cemetery". However, this could be Muskegon County Cemetery. I cannot tell because of the writing.
