The 1880 census lists lists Bell D. Covell, age 3, as living with her parents D.W. (David Wilmot) and Emma E. Covell in Whitehall, MI. David and Emma divorced in 1883 and the divorce decree states there were no children born from this union. A Bell Covell may have been living in Muskegon, MI on Pine St. in 1890 but I have no other information that this is factual. She does not appear under this name in any later census records I have reviewed. Might anyone have ever heard of Bell or what may have happened to her?
