I just wanted to take a couple lines to say thanks to Bill Moore for reminding us on the list and those who frequent the RootsWeb message boards of some of the resources online and at the Hackley Library. Bill and other researchers and volunteers have been most helpful in Muskegon area history and genealogy helps, especially for those of us who live far away from Muskegon County. As of August 23, 2008 there are 143 subscribers to this list. And yes, although not nearly as active as it used to be, it is still a moderated list with most of the posts originating on the RootsWeb/Ancestry message board network. Feel free to post your Muskegon County-related family history interests or surnames at any time.
