She lived in Muskegon, Michigan 1892-1980. Her parents were Pieter Paulus Steketee and Dellia Semeyn. She was married, apparently briefly, to a David A. MacDonald, who was a lawyer, during the 1920s. She worked with her father in the outdoor advertising and billboard business. She lived at the Occidental Hotel from the 1930s onward, until they took it down.
