There are SO many BIG houses! What I wouldn't give to go thru them....!! Lots of 3 story homes on Peck St and Sanford St. My question is ......... what was this area in it's hey-day? A main road that connected Muskegon to the Heights? Why are there so many big homes along these streets? My VanderVeere family lived at 39 Delaware back in the early early 1900's and it seemed that quite a few family members must have lived there, so I'm thinking the house must have been big. I've driven Delaware St., but I'm not sure exactly where this house would have stood, as many of the lots are empty now. Also, I seem to remember that there was a number change for the streets in the 20's ??? Any ideas?? Thanks! Joyce - Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
