Dick, 73 years old, 2199 Miner avenue, a former foreman at the Shaw Walker company where he was employed for 25 years until two years ago, died Monday in Hackley hospital after a short illness. A resident here since 1908, he was born Sept. 16, 1873 in Roaring Springs, Pa., later living in Goshen, Ind. and Alexandria, Ind. He returned to Roaring Springs in 1902 before coming here six years later. He was married Nov. 29, 1891 to Miss Belle D. Chase in Goshen. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary here in 1941. He was a member of the First Congregational church and the Muskegon Foremen's club. He leaves the widow; one son, George W. Dick of Muskegon; three brothers, Plomer B. Dick of Roaring Springs, Rancey B. of Conemaugh, and Harry of Altona, Pa., one sister, Mrs. Martin Lindsay of Alton; four grandchildren, Mrs. Merle J. Eichman, Mrs. Robert C. Davis and Jack Lowery Dick, all of Muskegon, and Mrs. William M. Slater of Coopersville; and two great-grandchildren. Dick, 74 years old, 2199 Miner avenue, a resident of Muskegon for 40 years, died Sunday at 1:30 a.m. in Hackley hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. Her name was Belle D. Case before marriage and she was born in Goshen, Ind., Sept. 14, 1874. She was married to Lowery B. Dick at Goshen, Nov. 29, 1894. The moved from there in 1902 to Roaring Springs, Pa. to live for six years before coming to Muskegon in 1908. Mr. Dick died here May 26, 1947. Mrs. Dick was a member of the First Congregational church and of its Second division. She leaves one son, George W. Dick, Muskegon; four grandchildren, Mrs. Merle J. Eichmann, Mrs. Robert C. Davis and Jack Lowery Dick, Muskegon and Mrs. William Slater, Coopersville and one sister, Mrs. Mary C. Miller, Marion, Va. and three great-grandchildren. Senile (adrenal) osteoporosis. Case, Isaac A. Obituary Muskegon News Chronicle, Muskegon, MI, Saturday, April 22, 1911, Page 5:4 Isaac A. Case Isaac A. Case died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. B. Dick, 20 Jiroch street, this morning at 1 o'clock, as the result of an attack of apoplexy. His illness lasted but a few hours. He was 72 years old. Mr. Case was born in Hopewell, Ontario county, N. Y. At the age of two he went with his parents to Goshen, Ind., where he lived for 63 years. For the last few years he has been living at the homes of his children. He leaves two daughters and one son, Mrs. Mary Miller, of Holton; Mrs. L.B. Dick of this city, and Arthur B.
