He re-enlisted 7 Dec 1863 at Chattanooga, Tenn. and was mustered 25 Dec 1863. He was promoted to corporal 15 Oct 1864 and color guard in March 1865. The veteran was discharged at Nashville, Tenn. on 15 Sept 1865.
