The big reason I inquired on this site was that I recently recieved a large quantity of pictures from 1945-1951. The person that took the photo was an airport employee during that time. Ironically, I found while looking at the pictures that one of my great Aunts was good friends with her and she is in many of the photos. It is nice to see a large amount of my family history in photos taken by someone else. There are many names mentioned and people photographed. If you have relatives in the area with the following names, I have pictures of them: Bill Esler, Eula Alger, Marion Christiansen(Gucas), Travis, Sinnie Sinclair, Betty Parmenter(sp?), Misc. photos of mechanics, pilots, and a guy that appears to be a mystery, Jimmie Desanto. I would like to find out more information on him. He was a pilot and local air racer. He was sponsored by local businesses that bought an aircraft for him to race at the Cleveland Air Races in 1946. Any information him or any of the other people would be greatly appreciated. Additional photos would be great also.
