SCHIEBER and Alice Levonia PAGE) was born 07 Jul 1895 in Williams Co., OH and died Jul 1966 in Allen Co. IN. He married Alta Faye PHILLIPS (date unknown). Alta was born 24 Aug 1895 in OH and died 02 Jul 1936 in Muskegon, Muskegon Co., MI. I found them in the 1930 Muskegon Co. Census with 4 children age 3 mo. to 5 yrs. John Wesley was the youngest brother of my grandmother, Mary Cecelia SCHIEBER SCANTLEN. The story in our family is that Alta died giving birth to her 9th child. The male child died too. When she died, John put all the children in foster homes. At that time the oldest was 11 yrs. and the youngest was 3 yrs. I have been in contact with a descendant of the youngest, Jacob Fred. Alice Marie: b. 25 Jan 1929 5.) Ruth M.: b. 04 Jan 1930 6.) Robert: b. 26 Sep 1931 7.) Jacob Fred: b. 11 Feb 1933 d. 08 Mar 1959 8.) Julia May: b. 07 Aug 1934 d. 16 Nov 1934 9.) Baby Boy: b. 02 Jul 1936 d. 02 Jul 1936 As far as I can tell all the children were born in MI, probably Muskegon CO. I need birth records, death records, obituaries, etc. If anyone knows what happened to any of these children, I would appreciate you letting me know. This branch of my family has been a mystery.
