Surnames: Hanna/Beck Classification: Marriage Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/WGB.2ACI/1652 Message Board Post: A quiet wedding took place Wednesday evening, August 23rd, at 8 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Hanna; near Casnovia, Mich., when their daughter, Sadie was united in marriage to Samuel O. Beck of Lincoln, Ind., by Rev. S. H. Dull of Kent City. At the strains of the Mendelsson wedding march played by the bride's aunt, Mrs. John Bennett, the bridal couple marched to the bridal corner marked with two pedestals bearing ferns and bride's flowers. Ferns and bride's flowers were used in vases about the room. The dining room and gift table were decorated with ferns and blue asters. The bride was gowned in blue taffeta and was attended by her grandfather, acted as best man. Refreshments were served to forty guest by Miss Gladys White and Mrs. Alfred Harris. The couple recieved many useful gifts. Mr and Mrs. Beck left Friday morning by the auto route for their home in Lincoln, Ind., accompanied by Mr. Beck's parents.
