The funeral was held at the Baptist Church Wednesday at Two o'clock p.m. and was largely attended by his old neighbors and friends. Rev. H. A. Heuy officiated and the internment was in the Seamans cemetery. Mr. Furgeson's health had been poor and he had been failing rapidly for several months, but he had only been confined to his bed a few days before his death whe he was taken with Hemorrhage of the lungs. He was born in the state of New York and was 69 years, 11 months, and 25 days old at the time of his death. Six children, two sons who reside near Onaway, Michigan, and four daughters, Mrs. Libbie Pierson of London, Wash., Mrs.Rita Colling of Moon Lake, Misses Edythe and Hilda of this Village, and his aged wife survive him. Mr. Furgeson was well known and highly respected in Casnovia and the vicinity having lived at Bailey many years and in this village about six years.
