I believe the church moved to a new building across the alley (Southern and Barclay) sometime around 1950, and is now known as Our Saviour's Lutheran. The old building is depicted in the 1889 panoramic (pictoral)map of Muskegon. Good quality repros of these maps are available on ebay, though you might be able to find it on the Library of Congress website. More than you probably wanted to know: One block east of Our Saviour's is Olivet Evangelical Free Church, which was formed by a group who split off from the Norwegian Lutheran church in the 1880's. Is there a Sam in your Johnsons?
