Earlier I have asked for help to find any information about my grandfathers aunt Sophia Larsdotter. I got some help from the Emigrant institute in my town Växjö and we find that Sophia born 8 January 1849 in Hofmantorp, Sweden, came to Muskegon 1872 and 1877 married Loi Brogren (born 1849 in Sweden). First he worked at a sawmill and then was a farmer. They lived in Laketon Township Muskegon. They had a daughter named Hellen or Ella, probably born 1877, a boy Gustaf Magnus born 18 December 1879, a boy Lois or Leo born around 1885 or 1888. I believe that Gustaf married a tree year younger girl born in Michigan, but her parents was from England and Canada. 1910 Gustaf and his family lived in North Muskegon. If somebody can help me find more about this people’s life, their children and so on, I am very thankful. Lena Bieber Växjö Sweden
