One machine showed me several Lamourex & different spellings of the name. You have to remember many did not speak English, only French & had little schooling & therefore went by the way Lamouroux sounded & therefore different spellings. I found my mom's family was Lamirande. But she thought for years it was Lemmeron. Her grampa thought it was Lamouroux. So, all the relatives got scattered from East Canada to the Upper Peninsula.
