He was born February 1, 1926 in Pullman, MI. He was a retired foreman at Pullman Industries, retiring in 1989. He lived in the Pullman area most of his life, moving to Whitehall in 1993. He served in the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife, Ailene Bryan of Whitehall, MI; 2 sons, Robert and Chris Galbreath of Allegan, MI, Wayne Allen Galbreath of Boca Raton, FL; 3 step-sons, John and Alice Miner of Alabama, Herbert Miner of California, and Donald Meachum of Dowagiac, MI; 2 step-daughters, Pam White of Pullman, MI, and Sharon and Mick Eastman of Alabama; 1 granddaughter; 14 step-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Donald and Molly Galbreath of Fairbanks, Alaska; 3 sisters, Dorothy F. Galbreath of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Beatrice and Raymond Fleming of Fennville, MI, and Doris Owens of Crete, IL. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22,! 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Chappel Funeral Home, Fennville, MI, where Services will be held Sunday, November 23, 2003 at 1:00 p.m., Rev.
