No burial info. Winegar was on the 1890 Vet census as was Johnson, but it did not state that John E Johnson had died or list a widow. I checked the cemetery records for John E Johnson and found a burial in Seaman Cemetery for Margaret Johnson wife of John E 1852 - 1924. No Burial for him in that cemetery. There is a Johnson cemetery but there is no info as yet. If no success, then send for his military/pension records from the National Archives. As for James A Winegar - Hilton Cemetery Casnovia,Twp., Muskegon MI James A Winegar Cpl 9 MI Inf 2 Aug 1838 16 Sept 1893 Don't know if this is a military headstone. But military info checks with info on Ancestry Civil War info. No other Winegar buried near him. Check this website it is very helpful. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~muskegoncounty/Cemeteries/ Hope this helps Carole in CA Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. First is for John E. Johnson who died in 1886. Second is for James A. Winegar who was buried Sept. 16, 1893. This is to be able to place military headstones on their graves where they have never had any headstone before. Thanks!!! It was located on Spring Lake near Grand Haven. There was a large old house that served as the kitchen and dining area and 8-10 cottages. My family and I stayed there for several years in the late 50's and early 60's. We always called Mrs. Waye Nora too, but she's listed in the history of Spring Lake as Anna. My parents usually exchanged cards or letters with Bill and Nora during the winter which I believe they spent in Florida. I remember being told that Bill was planning to enter the ministry. I'd love to hear anything you know about them. I was in SPring Lake this summer trying to locate the resort property. As near as I can tell it was on a bay on the northern side of the Lake. Nora was a fabulous cook. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Yes, This helped a lot! :) It filled in the blanks so much and sparked me to get a subscription. Records are still hard to find. Ancestry needs an even larger database, and better filters, as improvements get maade to its site. Do you have any more information on death, birth, marriage of Sebastian Inglat and Mary Bytnar? I'm curious especially of where they passed away. My Dad says Sebastian kekpt going back and forth to France to look for his brother. Could he have passed away there or have gone back to Poland, I wonder. Is there also a record of Joseph, Albert, or Josephine Inglot who may have been his brothers and sisters? A second request: Do you have marriage and obituary information for Jean/Genevieve Inglat Kowalski. She Married my uncle, Larry Kowalski in the 1950's. Lastly, family information on Darrell A. Ruud, who married a Krause. He was born about 1955, and I hear he was in an accident, passing away in 1992 or 1996. I went to Catholic Central with Darrell, and in the circle of life, he married my grandson's grandmother's sister. A brain-teaser sort of :) Thanks so much for the records you've relayed already!
