Am still looking for the burial place of my Great Grandfather Dr Samuel Alexander Mims, in DeSoto Parish, LA. who died on Jan 1st, 1864. Also trying to find out what happened to Samuel Roderic Evander Mims, called Roddy, He stayed behind in DeSoto Parish when his step mother moved back to South Carolina, he would have been 18 years old in 1868, when his family moved.
